When an application for a trademark is filed, objections are received by the trademark registrar, mainly regarding the name  with some other name, and if the registered name is found by the registrar to be required, the registrar is required to give a reply to the objection and hold a hearing regarding the objection. Further action can be taken to obtain the trademark from the pending action.
